A typical dog hotel, Munger Castle is a 13th-century fortress on the coast that has witnessed Viking raids, royal visits and all manner of military battles over the centuries. However, dogs will love to walk in the yard and explore the walk in your door. All the bedrooms have antique carpets and upholstered furniture, including the occasional four-poster bed, and even the dogs get beds and blankets for them. However, please note that if your dog barks a bit, it may be moved to a pet facility on the spot if it interferes with the experience of other guests – this is for respectable dogs only.
