Dog Friendly Holidays Queensland – Alure Stanthorpe is nestled quietly in the woods and, luckily for us dog lovers, it’s a luxury pet-friendly property. Just 10 minutes’ drive from Stanthorpe, this is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the views of the sandstone mountains. This can be done from your private deck or from inside through the large floor to ceiling windows.
When the temperature drops during the day, you can take a dip in the hot tub, drink some local wine and relax. Then head inside for a night in front of the fire, some Netflix, or just relaxing with your best friend. After a good night’s sleep on the big bed, you can wake up and enjoy a breakfast of local products.

Location: Allure Stanthorpe is just a 5 minute drive from Stanthorpe town centre. Stanthorpe is located in the Queensland Highlands, approximately 3 hours from Brisbane.
Access and parking: Alure is located on a farm. Upon entry to the main building you will also be greeted by the dogs Bella and Caspian who live in the nearby paddocks (they are working dogs so walk dogs must stay in the car or on on a lead during check-in, do not approach the dogs as they act as pack guards). You will be driven to your villa on a dirt road (any vehicle can do so). Parking is provided for one vehicle.
Best time to visit: Winter is a great time to visit! However, the average summer temperature is only in the mid-20s, so it’s worth visiting at any time of the year. We were told that fall leaves are beautiful, and so are spring wildflowers. The hotel has an air conditioning system to keep you cool when it’s warm outside.
Your dogs will receive their own dog treats and locally made dog soap. They can also use a luxurious dresser and a comfortable bed to rest peacefully during their stay. Food and water bowls are provided, as well as dog bags in case you forget or run out. The entire deck and space is covered with glass. You can also take them for a walk around the grounds.

Toilets and hot showers are available, although there is no electricity. They allow dogs, but must be supervised at all times.

A dog application form can be found on the Boreen Point website if you wish to bring your pet on your trip. Camping options include 8 electric sites and a few non-electric sites in the forest or on a sandy beach next to a beautiful beach. Camp amenities include hot showers, toilets, potable water, camp kitchens, cooking, laundry, and even fireplaces. A good general store and family truck are within walking distance. Boreen Point is a great choice for those looking for a relaxing getaway with plenty to do nearby. Boreen Point vacationers can enjoy swimming, fishing, boating, and kayaking in the local waters. If you don’t have a boat, you can rent kayaks and SUPs at the campsite or bring your own. There are many hiking trails nearby. Hikers and RVers are welcome to bring their dogs, but must be on a leash at all times and their pets must be approved prior to arrival. Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and disposing of waste properly. Pets are not allowed in the kitchen or camping areas. So plan your visit around peak times such as Christmas, Easter and September school holidays when pets are not allowed.
At Imbil Camping Retreat you have complete freedom to do what you love. It’s a great place to swim, kayak or cast a line to see if you can catch something. Located along Yabba Creek is the 12-acre Imbil Retreat Campground, where you can explore, just relax and take it all in. Tenters and campers can choose between electric and non-electric sites. Amenities include a camp kitchen, showers with hot water, fire pits and even a playground. They have campsites where dogs are allowed, but must be supervised at all times.

This family and dog friendly campground is a great place to relax and spend time with loved ones.
Each campsite in Gordon Country has its own pitch, so you won’t be crowded. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a tech-free weekend as there is no phone or internet access. There are many different camping sites to choose from. Some places have sanitary toilets and hot showers in others. There is also electricity for those who need it. In addition, there are homes and camps.
This eco-friendly campground covers 4,000 acres, so you’ll have plenty of room to set up. Several hectares of land are allocated to all vacationers. Swimming and 4WD trails are available, as well as hiking and mountain views. Relax by the fire with your dog or horse and enjoy the digital erasure! Dogs are welcome at Gordon National Park, but there are rules. Dogs are not allowed in the tents, cabins or on top of the property. There should also be a leash to keep dogs at all times and at night. All required vaccinations must be current.
Inskip Peninsula’s white sand and clear blue water make it a popular destination for people and their four-legged friends. Rainbow Beach, Tin Can Bay and Fraser Island are just a short drive or short trip away from the property. Some Inskip campsites are more 4WD friendly than others, but securing a site is a first come, first served game and can fill up quickly.
